Once he gets a shine he has some really easy follow ups with platforms to rack up 50%+. He can shield pressure peach very easily once she's in the corner and against samus he can either pressure with fadeaway bairs on shield or low dairs > shield to bait out the samus upB oos. Against Peach and Samus Falco dictates the neutral game with his lasers and gets stage position easily.

I love falco so much, but I'm just so depressed with what things are looking like for him. If a puff is playing patient and forcing a falco's hand, I feel like it just wins the matchup.Įvery other character is growing their meta and beating falco, and so there's no longer many top-placing falcos at the tourneys because they can't consistently win. Her air game and her bobbin-n-weavin and her walling out just counter the falco game so hard, and she can carry you off stage like no one's business. She has so many answers to what falco's do, and her edgeguarding and projectiles just decimate falco when they're on point. I really think falco (at the very least, slightly) loses the samus matchup.I think falco loses the peach matchup, because her air game and turnips really hurt falco, and her edgeguarding makes it impossible for him to return unless the peach messes up.Also, FD counter-pick is all but instant-loss for falco. Marth can gimp, wall, and punish falco to death with his disjointed hitboxes. I really think that he loses the marth matchup.I love him to death, but I just can't help but think he's not nearly as good as he was thought to be.
